GIBenefits Portal Application Announcement

Office of the University Registrar is pleased to announce that GIBenefits, a new TUportal app for servicemembers and dependents enrolled at Temple University, will be generally available to all students on or about April 20, 2018.

Servicemembers and dependents can use GIBenefits to:

  • view enrollment information per term with relevant information for certification,
  • submit servicemember/dependent information, such as chapter, branch, regional office, military status, etc.,
  • manage communication from Temple Veteran Association
  • declare the use of education benefits,
  • upload documents required to certify education benefits, such as a Certificate of Eligibility or eBenefits, and
  • view student account activity, time status, academic standing, communication with O.U.R., and other information

All currently enrolled and newly admitted students can access the application multiple ways in TUportal.

University Forms:

  1. Log in to TUportal using your AccessNet username and password.
  2. Click on the Student Tools tab
  3. Navigate to University Forms
  4. Select University Registrar under Office/Description name
  5. Click on the GIBenefits link

Registration Channel:

  1. Log in to TUportal using your AccessNet username and password.
  2. Click on the Student tab.
  3. Navigate to the Registration channel
  4. Click on Veteran Declaration (GIBenefits)
