Who can submit a proposal?
All TUJ faculty and staff are invited to submit a proposal to present at the Temple University, Japan Campus Academic Conference on any topic related to teaching or research.

Formats:
Your proposal should indicate which of the following formats you will use when presenting:

  • Presentation (suggested duration: 50-minutes): A focused talk that dives into a topic, offering insights and ideas.
  • Workshop (suggested duration: 50-minutes): A hands-on session where participants engage in discussions or roll up their sleeves to try things out and learn by doing.
  • Lightning Talks (suggested duration: 15-minutes): A short, focused presentation designed to share ideas or key points in just a few minutes.
  • Poster Sessions: A visual representation of research or concepts displayed on a poster, allowing for one-on-one discussions with attendees during dedicated viewing times.

Modality:
Presentations can be delivered in-person (on-site at the Tokyo campus only) or online via Zoom (from the Kyoto campus or elsewhere).

Hyflex & Recording:
All conference sessions will be offered in “hyflex” format allowing for attendance in-person and online, as well as being recorded.
