Rebecca Beadling (Assistant Professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Science, College of Science and Technology) 

Brings expertise in: climate science/oceanography; climate communication; future climate projections; data visualization; data management; large-scale data analysis and scientific computing; engagement with international climate science projects (e.g., CMIP, IPCC); public engagement (Triple C @ Triple B: Climate, Community, & Conversations, lead organizer). 

Evangelia Bellas (Associate Professor, Department of Bioengineering, College of Engineering)

Brings expertise in: engineering human disease models, with a focus on fat tissue and associated conditions (obesity, insulin resistance, lipedema, exposure to microgravity, hormone responses, blood and lymphatic vascular function) via tissue engineering and organ-on-chip methods.

Jason Chein (Professor, Department of Psychology, College of Liberal Arts) 

Brings expertise in: cognitive neuroscience, decision-making processes, and how people learn, problem-solve, and navigate the physical and social world, especially under conditions of distraction, emotional arousal, and social influence.  

Bruce Hardy – Initiative Lead (Associate Professor, Department of Communication, Klein College) 

Brings expertise in: political science, health communication, risk communication, public opinion research, survey/experiment design, data analysis, messaging and message testing, and strategic communication for public engagement. 

Brian Hutler (Assistant Professor, Department of Philosophy, College of Liberal Arts)

Brings expertise in: moral and political philosophy; bioethics and public health ethics; legal theory and constitutional law; and interdisciplinary and mixed-methods research collaboration. 

Heather LaMarre (Associate Professor, Communication, Klein College) 

Brings expertise in: public policy, attitudes, and opinion change; message design; program evaluation; interview, focus group, survey, experimental design; high-impact philanthropy; social entrepreneurship; and strategic communication for public engagement of diverse audiences. 

Joe Lucia (Dean of Libraries)

Brings expertise in: cultural, social, and organizational impacts of technological change, with a focus on the ongoing impacts of the (rapid) transition from print-centered knowledge capture and transmission to a fluid, turbulent networked digital information universe characterized by a succession of destabilizing emergent technologies. 

Meghnaa Tallapragada (Assistant Professor, Advertising and Public Relations, Klein College) 

Brings experience in: collaborating with interdisciplinary teams by conducting public perception research and equipping scientists and engineers with data-driven science communication and public engagement strategies.
