What does the institute cost?

There is a single $50 registration fee for the two day institute.

Are there any opportunities for waived registration fees?

The Temple Collaborative will waive the $50 registration fee for a limited number of participants with lived experience who have a strong plan to promote community inclusion in their home agencies after the institute.

The Temple Collaborative is committed to supporting participation for those with lived experience who are employed or volunteer with a community-based mental health provider agency (i.e., peer run programs, community mental health centers, psychiatric rehabilitation agencies, etc.) and who have a strong plan to make use of the information they gain from the Institute in developing or expanding community inclusion opportunities within their home settings. Will I get CEUs for attendance?

We are not offering CEUs. However, we will provide a certificate of attendance along with program description that you may provide to your governing body.

Where is the institute?

Conference will be held in Ritter Annex on the corner of Cecil B. Moore and 13th Street on main campus at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Where should I stay if I don’t live in the area?

Hotel accommodations for out-of-town guests are limited on or near the Temple University campus (Conwell Inn), but there is a wide range of hotels in downtown Philadelphia, only minutes away.  Click here for more information on Philadelphia area hotels. If looking at hotels in the city, staying near the Broad Street Line Subway will make transportation easier.

How do I get there?

We will send more information on directions and transportation suggestions as the event gets near. However, Temple University is easilty accessible by taxi, uber/lyft or public transportation. There is also a parking garage on campus that is $17/day.

Will food be provided?

There will be light refreshments provided at registration and for breaks, however, there are no planned group meals. Registrants will be on their own for more substantial breakfast, lunch, and inner arrangements.  The Temple University campus has an impressive array of ‘food trucks’ to suit every taste, and many casual restaurants as well.
