TUARC has three 30 foot Rohn 25G towers and several masts mounted to the retaining wall on the roof of the 10 story Engineering Building. A 20, 15 and 10 meter Mosley CL-33-M triband Yagi antenna and a 160, 80, 40 and 30 meter Alpha Delta DX-B wire antenna are mounted on the east side tower. An Ameritron RCS-4L coaxial cable antenna switch, controlled at the station, is also mounted on the east tower with three more positions available. A 2 meter Directive Systems DSF0144-12 Yagi antenna, a 70 centimeter Directive Systems DSF0432-25 Yagi antenna and a 23 centimeter M2 23CM35 Yagi antenna is mounted on the north side tower. A 2 meter M2 EB-144\/RK2M and a 70 centimeter M2 EB-432\/RK70CM azimuth\/elevation antennas for satellite transmissions and a\u00a0Diamond X300A 2 meter and 70 centimeter dual band antenna are mounted on the south side tower. A VHF Advanced Receiver Research MSP-144VDG and a UHF MSP-432-VDG RF preamplifiers are also mounted on the south tower for satellite reception. A Diamond D3000N 25 MHz to 3 GHz wideband discone antenna, a Hustler G7-220 1.25 meter repeater antenna and a\u00a070 centimeter Diamond 718A repeater antenna are mounted on separate masts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mosley CL-33M 20, 15 and 10 meter Yagi antenna feedline and Ham IV antenna rotor have been placed off-line<\/em> due to a wind load failure. A MyAntennas EFHW-4010 end fed antenna for 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters has been installed as a temporary replacement. The Ham IV rotor for the three Yagi VHF and UHF antennas is intermittent in operation.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Transmission lines are LMR600 coaxial cables for VHF and UHF and RG-213 coaxial cables for HF. Multiconductor cables are used for the two antenna rotors and supply power to the VHF and UHF RF satellite preamplifiers. The coaxial cables and towers are grounded for lightning protection.<\/span><\/p>\n
