TUARC through the Amateur Radio\u00a0Emergency Service (ARES)<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: medium\"> provi<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: medium\">des <\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: medium\">such communication services when called upon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;font-size: medium\">TUARC has formed the basis of undergraduate ECE capstone senior design projects in Amateur Radio digital data and satellite communication. The original station location was Stauffer Hall at Broad Street and Columbia Avenue (now Cecil B. Moore Avenue). TUARC moved to the 9th floor of the new Architecture and Engineering Building at 12th and Norris Streets in 1979. TUARC is now located in Room 723C of the same building but now called the College of Engineering.
