While Rosie builds bombs, these human computers work around the clock to make them deadly accurate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brief Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTop Secret Rosies\u201d, an episodic television series, is a fictionalized retelling of the true story of women, math, and technology that helped win WWII and usher in the modern computer age.<\/p>\n<p>While Rosie the Riveter uses her brawn, these top secret Rosies supply brainpower that makes each bomb deadly accurate. Along the way, they discover opportunity and love amid the chaos of war.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Series Synopsis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 1942, a secret U.S. military program was launched to recruit women to the war effort. But unlike the public efforts to recruit Rosie to the factory, this search targeted female mathematicians who would become human computers for the U.S. Army.\u00a0 It is now 1944 and the war looks no closer to ending.\u00a0 The Army needs more women mathematicians.<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia sisters, DEE and ADDIE KOHL, Iowa farm girl BRITA YAGER and New Yorker GRACE NEWSOME (the only African American recruited for the program) have only one thing in common \u2013 their mathematical abilities. But these skills prove life-changing as tragedy and opportunity bind this unlikely group of young women together.
