Question. Explain.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 18px\">In my classroom, students practice making observations, building models, interpreting evidence, and revising explanations. Discussion and hands-on work give them opportunities to develop ideas together.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0\">Clear instructions, accessible materials, and time for independent thinking help students enter the work from different starting points. Questions and mistakes are part of learning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"alignwide\" style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:17px;line-height:1.7;color:#18211b;background-color:#f4f0e6;padding:40px 32px\">\n<h2 style=\"font-size:28px;line-height:1.25;color:#18211b;margin:0 0 24px\">Teaching experience<\/h2>\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size:23px;line-height:1.3;color:#18211b;margin:0 0 12px\">High school science<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 28px\">In Philadelphia, my science teaching has included chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, and environmental science, with an emphasis on connecting scientific concepts to health, communities, and everyday decisions.<\/p>\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size:23px;line-height:1.3;color:#18211b;margin:0 0 12px\">University laboratory instruction<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 28px\">As an adjunct instructor at Temple University, I taught general and organic chemistry laboratories, supporting students in experimental technique, laboratory safety, data interpretation, and scientific writing.<\/p>\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size:23px;line-height:1.3;color:#18211b;margin:0 0 12px\">Research training<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 28px\">As an Educational Support Specialist in Temple\u2019s Chemistry Department, I trained graduate students on specialized laboratory equipment (like diffuse reflectance UV-VIS), supported instrument troubleshooting and assisted with proper scientific writing.<\/p>\n\n<h3 style=\"font-size:23px;line-height:1.3;color:#18211b;margin:0 0 12px\">Summer science education<\/h3>\n<p style=\"margin:0\">At the Lawrenceville School\u2019s summer program, I taught forensic science and anatomy and physiology to students entering grades six through nine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"alignwide\" style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:17px;line-height:1.7;color:#f4f0e6;background-color:#18211b;padding:40px 32px\">\n<h2 style=\"font-size:28px;line-height:1.25;color:#f4f0e6;margin:0 0 20px\">Science connected to life<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin:0 0 24px\">A measurement, a molecular model, or a microscope observation can open a larger conversation.
