Xochitl and the Flowers

Our new words are bouquet, vase, valley, and breeze. The words come from the book, Xochitl and the Flowers. There is no video of someone reading this book, but you can ask your child about it!

Bouquet

A bouquet is a group of flowers.

Vase

A vase is used to put flowers in.

Help your child use a vase (or glass) in your house to collect flowers or plants for a homemade bouquet.

Valley

A valley is land between hills or mountains, usually with a river or stream flowing through it.

Plants blowing in the breeze

breeze is a gentle wind.

Ask your child if today is a breezy day.
