Our words are engineer, reporter, expert, and crew.  The words come from the book Tinyville Town Gets to Work. We do not have a video of this book, but you can ask your child to tell you about the story. Some of the pictures from the book are shown below.

Expert builder

An expert is someone who knows a lot about something.

Engineer

An engineer is an expert in designing, building, or maintaining engines, machines, or cities.

Reporter

A reporter finds out what is happening and can write for the newspaper or give the news on TV or radio.

Crew

A crew is a group of people who work together.

Ask your child what an engineer or reporter does. Ask what a construction crew does. Ask what an expert is.
