This week your child is learning the words stumble, wrinkle, exhausted, and simple. The words come from the book, The Girl Who Wore Too Much.  Talk about the words with your child.

Stumble

To stumble is to trip. Show your child what it looks like to stumble on something.

Wrinkled shirt

A wrinkle is a fold in something, like clothes or skin. Find a wrinkle in some clothes or blanket to show your child.

Exhausted woman

Exhausted means very tired.

A simple breakfast of cereal

Simple means not fancy. A simple meal might mean just a little bread and cheese.  Simple clothes would not have fancy designs on them.
