Our new words are flexible, perspire, muscle, and strengthen. They are words for our Exercise Study. Help your child learn the words.
Flexible – able to bend without breaking. Gymnasts need to be very flexible.
Perspire – sweaty. You might perspire when it is hot outside or if you exercise a lot.
Muscle – the soft pieces of flesh in animals and humans that make the bones move.
Strengthen – make stronger. Doing exercises will strengthen your muscles.
Congratulations! You are helping your child grow their vocabulary!
