Temple Teacher Residency is a teacher education program devoted to preparing diverse and highly-motivated individuals with strong mathematics, science, Special Education or Spanish subject knowledge to teach mathematics, science, or Spanish in high-need schools in the City of Philadelphia.\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Temple Teacher Residency program aims to improve mathematics, science, or Spanish education opportunities and achievement of all<\/em> Philadelphia middle grades and secondary students by collaboratively improving the quality, quantity, and diversity of their mathematics, science, Special Education and world language teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Temple Teacher Residency recruits diverse individuals with strong backgrounds in mathematics, science, Special Education or world languages subject matter knowledge and a commitment to teaching in high-need Philadelphia middle and\/or high schools, engages them in intensive coursework, immersive clinical experiences in the classroom, and ongoing professional development to advance their knowledge and ability to provide academically rigorous, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate mathematics, science, Special Education and world languages education for all students.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
