Take the Praxis and submit official scores to Temple University using the code 2906.
- When you take the Praxis, ETS will send up to four free official score reports to agencies or institutions of your choice.
- If you have already taken the Praxis, you can request an official score report from ETS.
- Register here for a test center and date.
*For Middle Grades (grades 4-8):
- Pennsylvania Grades 4-8 Core Assessment: English Language Arts and Social Studies (Test #5154) – Minimum Pass Score: 152
- Pennsylvania Grades 4-8 Core Assessment: Mathematics and Science (Test #5155) – Minimum Pass Score: 164
- *While not required for admission to Temple, residents who choose to partner with the School District of Philadelphia will need to pass the respective content exam before the Summer II start of the program.
For Secondary (grades 7-12):
- If your primary content area is mathematics, take Test #5161 – Mathematics: Content Knowledge (Online graphing calculator provided) (minimum pass score is 160).
- If your primary content area is general science, take Test #5435 – General Science: Content Knowledge (minimum pass score is 146).
- If your primary content area is biology, take Test #5235 – Biology: Content Knowledge (minimum pass score is 147).
- If your primary content area is chemistry, take Test #5245 – Chemistry: Content Knowledge (minimum pass score is 154).
- If your primary content area is earth and space science, take Test #5571 – Earth and Space Sciences: Content Knowledge (minimum pass score is 157).
- If your primary content area is physics, take Test #5265 – Physics: Content Knowledge (minimum pass score is 140).
For grades 4 – 12 Spanish:
- Take Test #5511 – Fundamental Subjects: Content Knowledge ((minimum pass score is 150).
- Take Test #5195 – Spanish: Word Language (minimum pass score is 168).
