Occupational Therapy is a specialized healthcare profession centered in the principles of enhancing independence, maximizing function, empowering the individual, being client centered, engaging in participation, and providing holistic care to our patients. Occupational Therapists work in all setting, with all ages, and with all conditions. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

An “occupation” to us is not just work or a job. Occupation to Occupational Therapists is any meaningful or purposeful activity that individuals engage in within their daily lives. Examples of an occupation would be eating, sleeping, work, school, grooming, play, leisure, education, social interactions…etc. The list can go on and on, but what is most important to us is that you can participate in these activities safely, independently, functionally, and meaningfully.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our interventions help to foster holistic wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, and promoting meaning to daily activities. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
