The Mississippi Teacher Corps<\/a><\/strong> (MTC) program at the University of Mississippi provides training and licensure for non-education majors who wish to teach grades 7-12.
Main benefits:<\/strong>
\ud83c\udf4e Full scholarship for a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Mississippi (covers all tuition, books, and fees)
\ud83c\udf4e Job placement in a Mississippi public school with full salary and benefits from the school district
\ud83c\udf4e Class A teaching license in Mississippi
\ud83c\udf4e Summer stipend to help cover moving and incidental expenses
\ud83c\udf4e Free on-campus housing during the summer training program
\ud83c\udf4e Mentoring and support from the MTC administration, second-year teachers, and alumni

For the 2026 application cycle, our application deadlines are:<\/strong>
\u2b50 November 15th: Early acceptance (decision sent by January 1st)
\u2b50 February 15th: Preferred deadline
\u2b50 April 15th: Final deadline
