Essential Teen Needs Study Overview

Thank you for your interest in the Essential Teen Needs study!  The goal of the study is to identify the needs that are essential to teens healthy development, and to develop a survey where youths can report whether these essential teen needs have been met.  Once developed, the measure will be used in research and practice to better understand facilitators and barriers to teens staying safe and healthy, and ultimately being prepared to live their best lives. The measure can guide the necessary supports and services to ensure that teens thrive.

Funding

The project is funded by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute for Child Development of the National Institutes of Health (Grant # 1R21HD112729-01A1).
