Dr. Teh Lin is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center and a Fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). With nearly two decades of experience in medical physics, she specializes in radiation treatment planning, medical imaging, and the development of advanced scanning and imaging technologies to improve cancer care.
She earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a BS in Nuclear Science from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. Dr. Lin has authored and co-authored over 130 publications, contributing extensively to research on motion artifacts, proton therapy, and imaging innovations.
At Fox Chase, Dr. Lin has served in multiple roles since 2005, beginning as a research associate and later advancing to Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor in 2020. She also served as Chief Resident during her medical physics residency.
Beyond her work at Fox Chase, Dr. Lin is actively involved in professional organizations including AAPM, the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), and the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP). She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Cancer Research and Cellular Therapeutics and is a reviewer for several leading journals in medical physics and radiation oncology.
Her contributions to the field have been recognized with the prestigious AAPM Fellowship (2024), honoring her leadership, scholarship, and impact on advancing medical physics.
