BIOGRAPHY
Emily Eckland serves as the Faculty Director of TEDxTempleUniversity 2025. With eight years of experience across startups, small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizing, she champions inclusive and dynamic spaces that foster growth and collaboration. Passionate about ethical leadership and community impact, Emily brings a strategic and grounded presence to the TEDx team—where vision, inclusivity, and purpose intersect. At the helm, she helps shape the event’s mission, cultivate diverse speaker voices, and ensure the program reflects both innovation and community values.

Social Enterprise in Nicaragua (Jan 2015 – Present)
Explored social enterprises across five Nicaraguan cities, including NGOs, women’s cooperatives, and sustainable coffee farms.
