About
Yuliya Liberman is an interdisciplinary neuroscience researcher studying how people perceive, navigate, and make sense of the world around them. She is pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience at the University of Delaware, building on degrees in philosophy, neuroscience research, and ethics from Temple University.
At Temple, she contributed across disciplines by helping manage a behavioral research lab, conducting fellowship-supported work in the Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio, and connecting philosophical questions about mind and ethics with research in psychology, neuroscience, and emerging technology.
Looking ahead, Yuliya aims to bring a philosophical lens to established research practices, challenge the boundaries of existing theories of perception, and use new technologies to create more inventive ways of asking, and answering, questions about how we experience the world.
