Prior to coming to Temple, Angelina worked as a research coordinator for Dr. Alexander Chapman on research studies utilizing psychophysiological measures of emotional reactivity in borderline personality disorder and non-suicidal self-injury. Angelina is a fifth year graduate student in the clinical psychology program and is currently on internship at Northwestern University. Her research interests broadly focus on disordered eating along a continuum, self-damaging behaviors, including suicidal behaviors and non-suicidal self injury, and emotion regulation. Angelina is also interested in the use of multi-method experimental designs (behavioral, self-report and physiological) to examine emotion regulation processes. For her Master&#8217;s project, she examined psychophysiological correlates of emotional reactivity among women with eating disorders who engage in non-suicidal self-injury, versus those who do not engage in non-suicidal self-injury. Angelina completed her dissertation a year early. Her dissertation examined body image and Binge-eating disorder and obesity.
