Amy Commander recently graduated cum laude from Temple University in May 2014 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Women’s Studies. This is her first experience working as a research assistant in a lab. She is also currently volunteering at Women’s Therapy Center in Philadelphia. These two experiences are collectively teaching her how clinical work functions in different environments. She is in the process of applying to graduate school in hopes of earning an MSW. Her goal is to attend school in the fall of 2015 and eventually work as a therapist. Some of her interest lies in working with populations such as women, LGBTQ communities and the youth. Lastly, Amy has an affinity for all things chocolate and Parks and Recreation.
