Susan Murray received a B.S. in psychology from Fordham University in 2012. After graduation, Susan joined Dr. Nicole Avena’s laboratory studying the neural correlates of under- and overeating, obesity, and addictive-like patterns of food consumption. Her academic interests include the study of eating disorders, neuroscience, and coping mechanisms. She has published 7 articles in scholarly journals such as Nature Reviews Endocrinology and 4 book chapters in textbooks including the The Wiley Handbook of Eating Disorders.
