Submission Deadline: On or before February 20, 2017
Temple’s Teaching with Technology Symposium committee would like your input in determining who will be this year’s recipient of the Temple University Innovative Teaching with Technology Award.
The award will recognize a full-time faculty member, who has made significant contributions toward integrating technology into teaching and learning. We are asking deans or their designee to nominate one faculty member, from their school or college.
The recipient will be selected by representatives from the Teaching Learning Technology committee and receive a $1000 stipend. The award will be presented during the annual Temple University Teaching with Technology Symposium, which will be held on March 31, 2017.
The range of acceptable nominations is broad varying from an instructor, who has been effectively integrating technology in teaching and learning for many years, to an instructor, who successfully integrated a new technology for the first time or an instructor, who used an existing technology in a new and innovative way. Use of new teaching strategies, approaches, techniques, or technology tools to positively impact student learning may be considered. Special consideration will be given to individuals, who have techniques or applications that can be applied across multiple disciplines at the university and who have demonstrated they are willing to share their experiences and expertise with Temple colleagues.
A nomination from your school or college can be submitted on the submission form below before February 20, 2017:
