She\u2019s originally from Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and now resides in New Jersey. She has performed throughout the tri-state area, in venues such as the Kimmel Center, The Wayne Jazz Festival, the Chicken Bone Beach Jazz Festival, and Joe\u2019s Pub. She\u2019s studied with the musicians Cesar \u201cPupi\u201d Pedroso, Elio Villafranca, and Jimmy Amadie among others. She has also performed with many artists, including Tito Puente, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra Company Segundo, and Brenda K. Starr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to her work in the United States, she has also performed internationally in countries like Cuba, Bolivia, and Venezuela. Suzzette has also recorded music with many local groups and has released her own music as well, the latest of which is titled \u201cRenacer.\u201d She completed her bachelor\u2019s degree in piano performance at El Conservatorio de Musica de Puerto Rico, and completed her master\u2019s degree in education and composition at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Most recently, she completed a certification as a music practitioner, and is writing a memoir. She has taught at high schools, in choirs, and at academies, and her teaching work has won awards and medals.
