Policy for Science refers to policy decisions the government makes that directly impact scientific research. This includes funding allocation, public access policies, and the ability to translate science. Science for Policy refers to scientific research that is used to inform and advise legislation being written. Every sector from healthcare\/biomedical science research, economics, national security, and plays a role in science policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through SciCAP, we hope to provide early career researchers the opportunity to have a voice with legislators and understand the structures that fund their research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To get involved in Science Policy initiatives in SciCAP, reach out to Spencer Feehan (spencer.feehan@temple.edu).
