Data Deposit Form

Temple University Libraries will be closed for winter break from close of business on December 20th, reopening January 2nd. All TUScholarShare deposit requests will be paused during this time until the TUScholarShare team’s return.

Fill out this form to submit your dataset for deposit to TUScholarShare. For advice on describing your work, see our Data Deposit page. If you have any questions or concerns with this form, or would like assistance with your data deposit, contact the Library’s Research Data Services team at tul-rds@temple.edu.

*****Please read the following before submitting your dataset*****

  1. There is a required README file that must be submitted with your dataset. You can download a template here.
  2. There is a size limit for the total deposit of 5GB. Contact tul-rds@temple.edu if you need to deposit larger files than this and we will work with you to find an alternative repository.
  3. Drop-off your README and file(s) for deposit to tul-rds@temple.edu via TUsafesend.

Name(Required)
We will use this information for follow-up and contact purposes.
Provide the title of the dataset. If it has no title, please create one that describes what is collected in the dataset.
Author(s)(Required)
Enter the name of the person(s), institution(s), group(s), or agency primarily responsible for creating this dataset. Add one author per line, using the plus sign (+) button for entries.
The time period over which the dataset was collected. In the case of a curated, or otherwise modified, pre-existing dataset(s), list the dates over which the Author(s) compiled, curated, and modified the dataset. For example, if the Author(s) worked from 2010-2012 on curating and transforming geologic mapping data from 1953-1957, the Collection Period would be 2010-2012.
The time period that the data within the dataset covers. For example, if the Author(s) worked from 2010-2012 on curating and transforming geologic mapping data from 1953-1957, the coverage dates would be 1953-1957.
Provide a summary or account of the content of the dataset.
Provide the abstract of the published research that this dataset supports.
Provide the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for the published research that this dataset supports. Enter the full URL (include https://).
