Welcome to RSENSUS!
We study changes in the biosphere as mediated by climate and people’s use of the land with the aim of identifying avenues to align nature conservation and people’s well-being. We use data from remote sensing, geospatial modeling and embrace extreme inter- and trans-disciplinarity to achieve this goal.
OUR VALUES
1. People’s well-being is inextricably linked to the preservation of all forms of life on Earth.
2. Climate change, biodiversity loss, and social inequities can only be addressed together.
3. Understanding and addressing human-nature complex problems can only be possible through the convergence of diverse knowledge.
