A panel of academics, administrators, and policy experts come together to discuss the role of the university in shaping public policy. Panelists will discuss the ways in which universities can engage with policy makers and practitioners to effect policy goals.

Panel 2 – 11:00am / Engaging Debates about Early Childhood Education
In this moderated panel, scholars discuss the current debates around early childhood education policy including the movement for universal Pre-K, program quality, and funding.

Panel 3 – 2:00pm / Immigration Policy and Reform
Panelists discuss immigration policy from academic and legal perspectives, examining current debates around unauthorized immigration, refugee policy, and sanctuary cities.

Keynote Address – 3:30pm / Evictions in America
