This week I got to learn a lot about the First Amendment and public demonstrations.<\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\", sans-serif\">This week there were some demonstrations in Old San Juan. Although they weren&#8217;t on park property there is a history of demonstrators targeting the park (stealing flags, sit ins, ect.). Because of this we were on alert for any potential occurrences.<\/span><br \/><span style=\", sans-serif\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\", sans-serif\">This experience gave me a good look at how these types of situations are handled from a law enforcement standpoint.
