My research interests are in planetary geology, sedimentology, early Earth processes and geoscience education.\u00a0 My current research focuses on studies of Precambrian meteor impacts and the implications for early Earth tectonics and environments.\u00a0 In addition, I collaborate with cognitive scientists on understanding spatial reasoning in the geosciences and drone practice and automation in the geosciences.<\/p>\n

I teach upper level\/graduate classes in Sedimentary Petrology and Planetary Geology, and teach the undergraduate general education class “Hidden Figures to Gamergate: Race and Gender in Science and Technology” online.<\/p>\n

I also serve as the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for the College of Science and Technology, and serve as the General Education Area Coordinator for Science and Technology for the University.<\/p>\n
