In a hard fought 4th quarter, Eagles kicker, Jake Elliot hit a 61-yard field goal to win the game against the New York Giants. The Eagles were in control for most of the game, going into the 4th quarter with a 14-0 lead. However that changed when Eli Manning, Giants Quarterback connected with Odell Beckham Jr. twice in 106 seconds to tie it up. The Giants then scored once again on a 77 yard reception which put them ahead for the first time all day. Philadelphia answered with a touchdown of their own to tie the game up again. The teams then exchanged field goals to keep the score tied at 24. With only 20 seconds left, it looked like this game would be decided in Overtime. However, Carson Wentz connected with Alshon Jeffery to put the Birds in Giants territory. Doug Pederson made the decision to try the field goal with 1 second left on the clock. Jake Elliot hit the longest field goal ever recorded at Lincoln Financial Field to get Philadelphia the hard fought division win.
