Audio Drama: L.A. Theatre Works<\/a> is an outstanding collection of performances of nearly 300 streaming audio plays created specifically for listening from the archives of \u00a0L.A. Theatre Works<\/a>, the premier audio theater company in America. \u00a0\u00a0 The plays range from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries and include well-known as well as emerging playwrights. \u00a0Funded by the Mellon Foundation, plays are chosen that specifically address important issues in the humanities, arts, social sciences, medicine, hard sciences, law, and other fields. \u00a0A new and exciting feature, indexing at the track level, allows one to search for subjects, topics, disciplines, any keywords, and find dramatic scenes that dramatically address these issues. \u00a0Audio Drama: \u00a0L.A. Theatre Works<\/a> also contains scholarly commentary on issues and topics. \u00a0Performances are by top artists such as \u00a0Alan Alda<\/a>, Keith Carradine<\/a>, Stephen Colbert<\/a>, John de Lancie<\/a>, Richard Dreyfuss<\/a>, Denise Du Maurier<\/a>, Valerie Harpe<\/a>r, James Earl Jones<\/a>, and many more.<\/p>\n
