Successful submissions will approach issues from a unique perspective.<\/p>\n<div id=\"builder-section-1474062590485-column-2\" class=\"builder-text-column builder-text-column-2\">\n<figure class=\"builder-text-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment-large alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/pcrs\/files\/2016\/09\/icon-41335_640-300x3005.png\" alt=\"icon-41335_640-300x3005\" width=\"214\" height=\"189\" \/><\/figure>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"builder-text-title\">Technical Guidelines<\/h3>\n<div class=\"builder-text-content\">\n<p>Once you have a topic idea in mind, your article should conform to the Political &amp; Civil Rights Society&#8217;s technical guidelines. Articles can focus on any current political or civil rights issue, construed broadly. Possible topics range from voting rights to environmental rights, from religious freedoms to probation reforms, and from the rights of juveniles to those of persons affected by international armed conflict. Articles may be adapted from class papers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">We consider articles of up to 40 pages. We are also looking to publish blog posts that are between 500\u20142500 words. Submitted articles must be footnoted in accordance with The Bluebook (Twenty First Edition) and comply with the Chicago Manual of Style. The entire Political &amp; Civil Rights board will then vote on the article using an anonymous number to obscure personal information.
