Ted and I split from the girls in Kyoto and headed back to the west coast to visit the Godzilla Intercept Operation Awaji. This was a huge park but there wasn’t much there. It was more just land and forests with the occasional small set of attractions based on anime fandoms (Demon Hunter, Monster Hunter, etc.), with probably the largest attraction being Godzilla Intercept Operation Awaji. Here you can watch a short film (made specifically for this attraction), zipline into Godzilla’s mouth (or next to him), try out the shooting gallery, or visit the Godzilla museum (with a body suit, various models and minatures, and sketches of the characters from the movies) along with the gift shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
