After Osaka we traveled over to Kyoto. On the way we stopped at a Matcha (tea) mecca in Uji. While there we hiked around a bit (since we didn’t see much there except for a street selling everything Matcha – Grace tried Matcha Soba, and the kids had Matcha ice cream).
It was raining the next day so we headed down to Arashiyama where the girls got dressed in Kimonos (a LOT of people do this, and it seems that it’s not just the foreigners – we saw people in every major city dressed in Kimonos walking around).
