Stray Post Its: A Poem by Mark Harder<\/a><\/h2>

My son put post its on<\/p>

my life. Pink sticky notes,<\/p>

written with black crayon:<\/p>

Cabinet, sugar, and oats.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Lime green post its plastered<\/p>

on the desk: keyboard, mouse,<\/p>

and computer. Mastered\u00a0<\/p>

the post its in my house.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Lemon yellow post its\u00a0<\/p>

for numbers. Light blue for<\/p>

feelings. Orange that fits<\/p>

stray thoughts behind the door.<\/p>

My son helped me name my<\/p>

life again – father, son,<\/p>

God, honest, friends, laugh, cry,<\/p>

teach, study, work and fun.\u00a0<\/p>
