The First Year Writing Program helps students succeed academically and socially at Temple University.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award commemorates Mary Ann Mannino, Ph.D., a former associate professor of English at Temple who dedicated her career to community-based education and writing.
