Subhashini Madhavan (Subbi) completed her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and then went on to finish her Masters at Columbia University graduating in May 2018. Her research interests include examining the mechanisms that underlie suicide, self-injurious thoughts and behaviors. She is also interested in better understanding risk and protective factors that contribute towards the subsequent onset of depression in adolescence. In her free time, Subbi enjoys drinking iced coffee (no matter the weather), hiking, reading or watching shows on Netflix.
Christine Lederer graduated from Vassar College in 2019 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in French. In her years since graduating, she has explored qualitative data analysis, data documentation, and positive psychology constructs. She has also done some work looking at the relationship between childhood adversity and reward responsivity. In her free time, she can be found roller skating, cooking, or listening to comedy podcasts.
