Although Penn Treaty Park is not a museum, it is a very historical site and embodies the oppression of the Lenapi Indians. There really is not much to see there aside from a few statues remembering William Penn. However, the background behind the landmark is incredible.
I had to look up online the names and locations of popular museums or historical landmarks that relate to William Penn, so rather then being couped up inside on a nice day, I opted to take a walk in the park. There is so much information online about this park, especially on the park’s website itself. I think that anyone interested in visiting this site should definitely do some research before they head over. Otherwise, it’s just another park and you won’t get the full experience of “standing where William Penn and the Lenapi Indians signed the peace treaty”.
