My main reasons for pursuing comedy and acting are very similar. In order to make an audience laugh, you need to defy their expectations and show them something that they could never anticipate. This mentality of defying expectations carries over into my acting whether it is comedic or dramatic. My hope is that each performance is a unique experience not only for the audience, but for myself. Accessibility has always been an important part of my life due to my experiences with a disability. If I am able to accomplish anything with my work, I want to show people that the camera and stage are accessible to anyone. And laughter or tears can come from places that you would never expect.
