Social isolation and loneliness represent inadequacies in meaningful social connectedness, limiting feelings of mattering. The purpose of this project is to reduce isolation and loneliness for adults with serious mental illnesses through facilitating social relationships that matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">This project was developed under a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR grant number 90DPCP0011-01-00; B. P.
