Guidelines for NEBEC Authors<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Podium Presentation <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Preparation:<\/strong>
    Prepare your presentation using PowerPoint in a 16:9 aspect ratio<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mandatory Disclosure:<\/strong>
    Include a disclosure slide as the first or second slide<\/strong> stating any financial conflicts of interest, or indicate \u201cNothing to disclose.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Timing:<\/strong>
    Presentations must adhere to the allotted time of 10\u201312 minutes<\/strong>, followed by 3 minutes for Q&A<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Submission & Arrival:<\/strong>
    Bring your presentation on a USB drive<\/strong> and arrive 15 minutes prior<\/strong> to your session to upload your slides and check in with the session moderator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Slide Design:<\/strong>
    Ensure slides are clear and legible<\/strong>, using a minimum 30-point font<\/strong>. Emphasize visuals over text<\/strong> and limit the use of bullet points.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Delivery:<\/strong>
    Use the provided microphone<\/strong>, stand center stage<\/strong>, and utilize a laser pointer<\/strong> to highlight key visual elements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Information regarding your Session date and presentation time<\/strong> will be communicated by April 1<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

     Poster Presentation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    • Applies to general and high school posters<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Posters must fit on a 30 \u00d7 40 inch (portrait orientation)<\/strong> foam board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Content should be concise, visually engaging<\/strong>, and effectively summarize the research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Posters must include clearly labeled sections: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The following elements are required:\n

      • Title<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Authors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Author Affiliations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • References<\/li>\n\n\n\n
