As a professor, I\u00a0hope that part of that purpose is to feed a curious and thoughtful mind &#8212; to build a\u00a0framework for students to independently identify and solve interesting and useful problems.<\/p>\n<p>But building a productive career\u00a0and filling your stomach is also important.<\/p>\n<h2>First Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Each year I try to provide an outline of advice for developing essential tools for\u00a0the job hunt.
