I have always joked around with my friends saying that I will most definitely be the insufferable study abroad person when I go back home; however, I cannot imagine not sharing what I have learnt, seen, and experienced with the people around me, even if I am going to be repetitive and annoying. I cannot deny that some days have not exactly been picture perfect; homesickness was uncomfortable to deal with sometimes. But overall, I had a wonderful experience learning about Mexico in a different light than I am used to seeing. Post-study abroad, I know that I will vocalize my dislike for certain things in the states, because I will compare it to the life I had here. In terms of self-reflection, I understood the exigence of traveling for the purpose of learning rather than leisure. I have also been very hyperaware of my privilege over the course of this month, which I think was necessary for me to realize. I will hold the memories and cherish the friends I made close to me, while still reflecting on my time here as a student. I attached some pictures that I really love and encapsulate some of my experiences on this trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
