When I used the search Chich\u00e9n Itz\u00e1, these are two photos that were included in the category. The second photo was from somewhere between 1925-1940, and the first photo did not mention a date at all– though I would assume it was taken around the same time period. I choose these two photos to share in particular because of their juxtaposition. In the first photo, I would guess that a tourist\/someone not of Mayan descent took the photo of those dressed in the Mayan attire to record their trip. It it interesting to point out how those three people in the first photo are clearly posing for the photo, or look almost as if they are on display, whereas in the second photo, (what I believe is a group of tourists) the people are obviously not intentionally posing for the camera; they are are seemingly candid and making observations about their surroundings.
