Wireless.txt Configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. First, go to this link<\/a>. You will be taken to a page to modify and eventually download a text file for the MiniPupper to use.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    On the right side of the screen, you will see a modifiable block of text. Based on the type of Wi-Fi network you use, you will change different portions of the text: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Private Wi-Fi\/Hotspot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Set WIFI_AP1<\/strong> to the name of your network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Set WIFI_AP1_PWD<\/strong> to the password of the chosen network. This password must be at least 8 characters in length.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Public Wi-Fi\/eduroam<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Set ID <\/strong>to your username for the network. If you are using an eduroam network, this should be your assigned email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Encrypt your password for the network into a hash using the generator on the left side of the screen. Notice how, on the right side of the screen, the HASH<\/strong> value has changed to mirror the generated value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Set AP <\/strong>to the name of your chosen network. This is set to “eduroam” by default.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        After changing the text on the right side of the screen to the appropriate values, download the text file. It should download as “wireless.txt”. Move this file to “system-boot” in your micro-SD card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
