Joey is currently completing a post-doctoral residency at the University of Washington, where she recently completed her clinical internship year. She graduated from Tufts University in 2016 with a B.S. in Psychology and International Relations. Prior to joining the lab, Joey worked as a full-time clinical research coordinator at the Depression and Clinical Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, working on a range of mechanistic and treatment studies targeting depression and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Her research interests encompass the spectrum of self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, and other behaviors associated with emotion dysregulation (e.g., aggression). Specifically, Joey\u2019s research seeks to understand how environmental factors (e.g., interpersonal contexts) and individual differences (e.g., cognitive and affective vulnerabilities) may interact to increase risk for self-injury using a range of clinical, behavioral, and physiological measures.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
