She works in the Women\u2019s Trauma Recovery Team (WTRT) providing individual and group therapy and assessments to veterans, as well as clinical supervision for psychology trainees at all levels, and engaging in program evaluation.\u00a0Martha\u00a0completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA Puget Sound, Seattle Division, and a\u00a0post-doctoral clinical fellowship in\u00a0Posttraumatic Stress Disorders\u00a0at VA Boston. Martha\u2019s\u00a0clinical\u00a0and research\u00a0interests\u00a0include\u00a0severe emotional and behavioral dysregulation, aggression, suicidality, and how these intersect with history of trauma.\u00a0In addition to trauma-focused therapies, Martha\u00a0has\u00a0a strong background in (and absolutely loves practicing) Dialectical Behavior Therapy\u00a0and coordinates the DBT Track in WTRT.\u00a0Martha\u00a0is\u00a0passionate about\u00a0working with\u00a0underserved and marginalized populations and\u00a0serves on multiple committees supporting inclusivity in the field and multiculturally-responsive care.\u00a0In her spare time,\u00a0Martha\u00a0loves\u00a0enjoying the patios of local restaurants,\u00a0musical theater, and curling up with her cats and a mystery novel.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Martha is currently a staff psychologist in the VA Boston Healthcare System.
