Brianna Sarcos is a second-year Clinical Psychology doctoral student in the MADLab. In 2020, she graduated from UC Irvine with a major in Psychology and minor in Biological Sciences. Following her time at UCI, she completed Yale University\u2019s Emerging Scholars Initiative Post-Baccalaureate program where she examined the effects of exposure to violence (ETV) on neurocognition. Brianna’s research interests involve exploring the developmental effects of early life adversity, specifically ETV, on neurocognition (e.g, emotion regulation, learning, and memory) to result in psychopathology and engagement in violent\/aggressive behaviors. In her free time, Brianna enjoys watching True Crime, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Pork Chop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
