In 2020, she graduated from UC Irvine with a major in Psychology and minor in Biological Sciences. Following her time at UCI, she completed Yale University\u2019s Emerging Scholars Initiative Post-Baccalaureate program where she examined the effects of exposure to violence (ETV) on neurocognition. Brianna\u2019s research interests involve exploring the developmental effects of early life adversity, specifically ETV, on neurocognition (e.g, emotion regulation, learning, and memory) to result in psychopathology and engagement in violent\/aggressive behaviors.
